I have owned 2 of them. An A-Bolt Hunter .243 & an A-Bolt Stainless Stalker .30-06. Both were very accurate out of the box. I have no regrets about buying them. If I were in the market for a .22-250 I would look at the Remingtom VS models.

The Ruger is a fine rifle as well. You would for sure have to have trigger work done though for varmit shooting.

I did own an A-bolt stainless stalker but I really had no use for theunecessarily complicated and slowmagazine system or for the tang safety.I would buy a tikkat-3 before an A-bolt.

I have an A-Bolt Hunter in 7mm RemMag. I'm not the best shooter in the world but I have achieved MOA with it. Smooooth bolt and a good trigger. If I were to buy another rifle it would be a Browning or a Savage, but I like the Browning
