Whats the differences in a 300 win 300 win mag and 300 weatherby?

300win means nothing.the 300weatherby has a larger case than the 300winmag and therefore can produce more velocity.

300 Win is the short name for 300 Winchester Magnum. Just like 30-06 is short for 30-06 Springfield, .270 is short for .270 Winchester, etc.....

The 300 Weatherby mag is a slightly larger case than the 300 Winchester mag and. Therefore it can hold more powder and generate more velocity, about 100 fps give or take.

They are both belted magnums and based off of the same parent .300 H&H case however, they are not interchangeable.
