tika t-3 vs winchester m70

I went to look at some rifles today at the sportsmans warehouse. Iv'e been thinking about getting the winchester ultimate shadow 270 wsm. The guy behind the counter was realy pushing the tika t-3.what is the consensus between the 2

I personally prefer the tikka.Every one that I have seen fired was very accurate.

I would definately go with the winchester. THe tikka is a one size fits all action so the win should be a little shorter with same barrel length. Also the tikka magazines aren't my favorite and I'm really unimpressed with the recoil lug setup on the T3. I had a laminated stocked 338 split the stock after less than 100 rounds. The tikka are usually very accurate though.

I'll admit I am biased towards Winchesters! But, I hate the "one size fits all," Tikka action, so there are many other guns I'd place above the T-3!

Does the Model 70 have a removable magazine and if it doesn't, how easy is to load quickly or unload in the dark?

I hope I'm not hijacking the thread, but I am also interested in both rifles for moose hunting next year. [8D]

Well, my "cheapie" Winchester Super Shadow 270WSM shot 1/2"-3/4" right from the git go....

I've gota T3 in stainless/syn. I love the gun. Shoots great, nice and light for when you're walking far.
