Default Can't remember

I just can't remember what grain slugs the old Lee Enfield army rifles were set up for using the original peep/ladder sights. I'm thinking it's 180gr. but might be wrong. Anybody know for sure???? I've decided to use her for my muley hunt this year, since the scope on my 3006 has just gone to crap[:'(]

Default RE: Can't remember

I think that over the years they used at least three bullets. A 180, a 215 and a 230. I once saw some 174 grain as well.
