Default RE: remington customer service

Only once with waranty. I had a shotgun that the blueing was poor- flaking off. I called Remington the gal gave me the service depot's info for my area and said to contact them to determine the course of action. I did and the gunsmith fixed it at no cost to me. Now this is Canada so not sure if in the US they have depots or ask you to return it to them?

I have contacted them via phone and email a few times.I have beenpleased with their efforts. Not always do you get the person who knows all the answers on the phone the first time but they either directed me or had that person call me back.

For me pretty painless.

Best of luck.

I have never had to deal with them for warranty work on a firearm but have e-mail them a number of time and the response was quick and informative.

I had a problem with a 870 Express 12 ga. last year. It wasn't even Remingtons fault and they fixed it anyway at no charge to me. Being that I live in Syracuse, NYand the Ilion, NYplant (where they make about 95% of their firearms)is about an hour from me I brought it there and picked it upin person, Idon't know if the mattered or not. So I'll say yes, in my opinion Remington has really good customer service!
