Default Henry Survival .22

What a fun rifle. I got it this week and I am very impressed. Weights close to nothing, I can put it together in a few seconds, fits in a small bag, great fun and accurate as well.
Does anybody here has any experience with this particular rifle? Thanks and regards from Spain.

I agree its a fun rifle. Havent shot one in awhile or have one now(20+ yrs ago) i looked at the newer ones a few yrs back- mostly the same( the rear sight was plastic vrses metal i think& the finish)

Think i will take another look at them sometime soon & buy one -i do need another 22. rifle.

(do you get to hunt somein spain Basteri? by the way Welcome aboard.

Basteri. I own an original Armalite AR-7 survival rifle in cammo finish. ryThey were originally made by armalite who made the original M16 rifles. Then a company called Charter b ought the rights to the design and name. Henry now makes thyem. What is cool is that I cAN buy my replacement parts from Henry and they fit perfectly. I carryhis rig when backpacking. I love it

I have one too completly in MO camo. I love the little thing to take fishing. you can keep it closed up and it doesnt look like you are carrying "a gun" but if you need it its there for recreation or protection. I did some reading on them and supposedly they were issued to pilots in the beginning for protection/survival.
