i have a yaer old cv 550 american in 30-06 with tasco 3x9 exp scope. gun has a nice walnut stock double set trigger and shot very little

I would recommend that you go to one of the gun auction sites and look for the gun there. That will tell you what they are going for. Or, go to a book store and look up the value in one of the gun books. Although, you have to remember that this is the book value not necessarily what you would get if you sold it.
