Default Cheap 30-06 Ammo By the Can???

I was looking through the latest Sportsmans Guide catalog and I noticed they carry 30-06 ammo by the can. The add states...

1970s production, "KA" headstamped. Brass-cased, Boxer-primed, reloadable, 150-grain, full metal jacket. 8 rds. per stripper clip, 48 rds. per bandolier. Approx. 192 rds. per .30 caliber can; 4 bandoliers per can. Muzzle Velocity: 2,910 F.P.S. Muzzle Energy: 2,829 ft.-lbs.

Has anyone ever bought this stuff? I was wondering if it would be okay to practice shoot with. It runs $35 for the box. What do you think?

I think you will find some of those adds saying its mildy corrsive to.

Got 2 30. cal ammo cans full plus 3 loose 56 round bandoliers .

So far The 168 in the loose bandoliers is gone- down range.

Not as nice looking as the M 1 danish i got in the past that was made in 91 instead of the 70,s.

Nothing wrong with that stuff...it's fairly cheap practice rounds and the brass is reloadable too.

Don't see why not. As long as we don't use them for hunting in FL. they can be used for Plinkering and Practice rounds.
