Default Remington SPS

I looked at one today and was impressed. I used to own a Rem ADL and the new SPS seemed to cycle smoother

Default RE: Remington SPS

Well, it is the same rifle as the ADL....with the addition of a BDL floorplate magazine and a new stock (as well as a couple of other minor changes). If the one you handled felt smoother than your ADL, it simply must be that the rifle is new....or happens to be a "good one". There are always slight production variations, in any mechanical device....and some will feel smoother than others. Nothing has changed as regards the design of the action or the tolerances within which it is built.
