10/22's they are great little gun. i believe that there are more extras on the market for the 10/22 than any other model of any gun. they even have their own section on ebay with loads of upgrades. everyone has there own thoughts on these. but i have never had good luck with the fifty round clips. the 25 or 30 round clips seem to work great. mine does not even look like 10/22 anymore. it looks like a small assualt rifle now and with some quick changes it would look like a target rifle. very fun gun to shoot you'll have a great time with it.

The 50 rd drum/tear drop run good in my 10/22's.look for butler creek steel lip 25rd.mags there the best mag in my opion.you probably want to avoid the condors as they fit loose.

Instead of buying a new one and not useing the stock and barrel, find a use one and have fun with it. The action is the only thing that you are going to use off the old one, so who cares what the rest looks like.
