i shot my freinds 30-06 semi auto no kick at all i was so suprised why is that he has a nice but bad on it i love it but i dont see my it kicks so little and after 8 shots the barrel got so hot after 8 shots you could barely touch it is that normal it is a remington 7400 autoloader.
It is quite normal for most high powered rifle barrels to get that hot after firing8 consecutive shots without allowing the barrel to cool.It is also normal for the barrel life to be muchshorter than normal if you keep overheating the barrel by firing so many shots without letting the barrel cool.
sounds like your playing with it... not really sighting it in.....professionally..its not how fast an autoloader can shoot ...but how accurate....your gonna hurt yourself and that gun.. Its not a toy... machine gun Your friend isnt thinkin either
we wernt sighting it in he was letting me shot it cause im looking at getting a new one i just wanted to get a feel of it and we were shooting at a target
