Default Stoeger Shotgun Opinions

Looking to get into a 12ga double barrell and get out of my Benelli Nova pump. Reality is that I have 4 kids to feed so i can't spend much. Had thought I might try the HR Pinnacle ($620), but last night saw some Stoeger o/u's last night that looked and felt good and werevery reasonably priced (<$500). What is the consensus on quality of the Stoeger products? Any benefits/burdens I would need to be aware of?

I had a 410 and a 20 side/side. Neither shot to point of aim with both barrels.....as much as two feet off at twenty yards with at least one barrel

IMO they are not worth your money.

I have a Steoger 2000, semi-auto and I love it. It is a great gun that stays really clean. No experience with the o/u.

I got my Girlfriend a stoeger single shot 20 gauge. I was impressed with it for the money I know it is still just a single shot but for the price it came with a vent rib and a safty. Two things I haven't seen on other single shots.

I've heard a lot of positive comments on Condor and plan on getting a 20ga O/U for grouse. Try, I think!,,, www.shotgunworld.com for a search.
