replacement stock

I have a ruger m77 with a factory installed 22-250 bull barrel that needs a new stock on it. i want to put a wood stock on it. What i need to know is will all the stocks that say they are for a m77 fit on my gun or do i need get a special stock
made for that bull barrel.

i would give ruger a shout. i would say you need a special fitted stock.
