Default 500 Smith and Wesson

How is the 500 smith and wesson? What about factory loads?

I have not tried one yet but have been waiting for it to come out in the NEF rifles and maybe the Marlin rifle. They are not much heavier than the S&W pistol and I would like to take advantage of the long barrel. owever it does not add much if anything the ballistics of the 45-70 in those rifles. When handguns get that big and bulky and heavy, they don't offer much in convienence over a carbine rifle. IMO
