Default Browning A-bolt 12ga Rifled Shotgun

I finally picked up my Browning A-bolt 12ga rifled shotgun this weekend. I originally owned this gun brand new in 1996. Even at that time it took months of searching just to find one in stores.
That gun was stolen back in 1999, and I swore to myself that I would replace it someday. This spring after years of search I finally found what I was looking for. Brand new, and in the box with the original paperwork.

I am fimiluar with the Abolt slug, but curious why its such an important find?Everybody like what they life. Do you think the lockup is better than say a gold slug, or 870 slug gun?

THEY ARE A GREAT FIND BECAUSE THEY ARE A WELL BUILT BOLT LOCK UP SLUG GUN BUILT TO BROWNING STANDARDS(SMOOTH ACTION,GOOD ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER AND ACCURATE BARREL)THEY ARE NO LONGER MANUFATURED DUE TO THE MARKET FOR THEM,AND ALMOST ANYONE WHO HAS ONE IS NOTWILLING TO PART WITH IT.TO GET A BOLT ACTION SLUG GUN OF IT'S QUALITY YOU WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT TARHUNT SLUG GUNS AND SPEND OVER $1200 OR MORE.

Sorry about the caps, any how I can't promise it will shoot better than your guns any day of the week as each gun is differant, but I can atest to the quality and accuracy of mine.I had a Marlin 512 slug master before I found the Abolt, the Marlin shot well but the trigger was crap and action was rough.Everyone has there preferance to action type, but if you prefer a bolt action the Abolt is at the top of the list.I find most bolt action firearms in general to be more accurate than pump actions due to the fixed nature of the barrel, but this is just my findings, yours may differ.
