Default Ruger Mini 14

I've got a Ruger mini 14 stainless ranch rifle with the composite stock bought new in 99. Fired maybe 100 rounds through it and I'm thinking of unloading it but cant seem to find any good pricing info. Anyone got an idea what it's worth? I'm not looking for a high end number, just a fair price that will sell it in reasonable time.

Look on the various auction sites to get a feel.Check the asking prices and check the actual prices sold ones have gone for. Price your accordingly.

I paid $350.00 for mine but it isn't the ranch model.

Watch www.gunsamerica.com you can get a good idea what new and used guns are going for..Over the 6 years you haveowned your Mini prices have gone up considerbly. You should be able to get what you have in it back . Don't cut yourself short.

i would have to agree with Highdeserwolf. $400.00 would be fair. i paid around $500.00 for the new stainless ranch model i have. around here a used gun or rifle in good condition is ussually about 20% less than a new one.

Also remember that there's a new version of these out now so the older version likely won't be fetching what they once would've.

I had tried gunbroker.com but hadn't found any mini's that werent folders or pre-ban. I'll try the other links you gave.

I was thinking $400 so I was in the right ball park.

On the contrary, since the new version was released, the popualrity for the old model has sky rocketed so it is possible the older models prices will increase do to supply and demand. The supposed improvements on the "NEW" mini-14 has actually made alot of people frown due to lack of after market parts and accessories available for the new version.
