Comercialy produced the 500 S&W is the biggest I think.

One of the gun magazines tested it ( and 50 cal rifles) a few years back.

Not my idea of a CCW pistol or for hunting ,but a fun idea.

I'm working on an idea for a .55 Special, to bring power to the 800 fps class.

I can't even imagine what the recoil of a 50 BMG pistol would be like! I had the chance to shoot a 50 BMG rifle two weeks ago. We were shooting 749 grain bullets, the rifle weighed 36#'s and although it didn't kick any worse than a .243, the felt percussion from the muzzle blast was unbeleiveable.

you would think we would stop tryin to compensate. with all the more that adiqute rifles out there, why on EARTH would you need a gun that big? I do however own a .50cal DE =)
