Default Ruger M77 MK II Trigger Job Instructions with Drawing.

This is the website I found and used to do the trigger job on a number of 77 MK II rifles. It is very easy and doesn't take very long. These rifles caneasily be set at 3 pounds. I purchesed an RCBS trigger pull scale from Cabelas for about $20 before I started working on any trigger. I used a hobby or needle file set and a vice. After the stock and boltis removed there is one pin holding the trigger in placeand one pin holding the seer in place. This was VERY easy to do. I just wanted to let everyone know so that they can preform their own trigger job if they want to.

Default RE: Ruger M77 MK II Trigger Job Instructions with Drawing.

This little article is old news to any gunsmith, but contains just enough information to get an eager hobbiest in "over their head". In fact, the author of the article stipulates it is not for anyone's reference other than a qualified gunsmith. You may consider it easy, but I can guarantee you that many mechanically inclined tinkerers will get their Ruger triggers so screwed up that they will need a whole new trigger assembly before it is over. And hopefully they won't shoot someone in the foot first!

Yes, however if it was not for the ( Tinkers ) we would not have many guns to work on..........
