Carrying Weapon to New Mexico/Colorado ?

I am traveling from Texas to Colorado in early August. I have a Concealed WeaponLicense for Texas and I am pretty sure that it does not apply for New Mexcio and Colorado. Does anyone know the laws as far as carrying a pistol in my car in these two states? I will probably not keep it on me while am there, just would like to keep it in my vehicle while travelling. - Thanks LJ01

The www.packing.org sight is very informitive, it has a lot of good info. Make sure you use .orgNOT .com. I made that mistake ONCE.
