Default New A-Bolt

Well, i just put my first browning rifle on layaway. Its a composite stalker in .22-250 with 22"barrel. I was really wanting the .223, but they had the 250 in stock and i loved it. Anyone have this gun in this caliber or similar?I'm really interested in what kind of groups everyone's getting. Also, what kind of ammo are you using in your a-bolt. I would like to find some good affordable .22-250 ammo to use. I always use the bulk pack of winchester jhp's in my .223's, and was wondering how they would work in the a-bolt 250.

cabelas has bulk packages of 22-250 in the centerfire rifle ammo. i'm not sure of the quantity or price right now but you should be able to find it pretty easily. if you can't find it just pm and i'll help you out.

I've got the same thing in .223. You should be extremely happy with your purchase. Mine shoots and groups extremely well. The trigger pull is great for a factory rifle. But don't just take my word for it. Hundreds of dead varmints can't be wrong.
