Default Help me with storing my rifles?

I have no room for a gun cabinet or a safe until about 2 years when I build a house. The only place I have to store the guns are under the bed or in the closet somewhere. Right now I have them in a silicone treated sleeve. I want to know if there are any cases that will store them without them rusting. I here about some RIG product, but cant seem to find it anywhere. I know I cant store them in the foam cases, I tried that and it started to rust. Any suggestions on what I should do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You can store them at my house. I promise I'll take REALLY good care of them! [8D]

Seriously, the best product I've ever used for preserving a firearm, short of Cosmoline, is BreakFree CLP. CLP stands for Cleaner/Lubricant/Preservative, and it lives up the all three very well. It was designed for the military and is the exclusive non-arctic cleaner for the M16 series rifles which are subjected to some of the most hellish environments on Earth. If you are going to use the weapon regularly, a very light coat is all thats required. If you plan on storing the weapons for awhile, a heavier coat applied before the gun is put into storage will preserve it indefinately.

I have no problem with my guns rusting from just sitting in the foam cases. I oil them up after handling and everytime before storing.

sounds like you need some desicant packets, cheaper then dirt sells them. keep them in your cases with the guns they take moisture out of the air.
