i do not recall the serial number on the box i tried but all i know is that the ammo i shot was the first box of ammo i ever shot out o fmy new 7mm mag and it had me worried...about 5 inch groups. I think i got a box of the bad ones. The next box i tried was regualr remington stuff and it was grouping at about 1.5 inches.

I wouldn't be surprised they're recalling that type of bullet. It's expensive junk in my opinion. I had tried the 180 gr in 300 win mag and the best it would do was 4 to 5" and I can get .75" with my handloads.

Actually ballistic tips and ballistic silvertips are some of the most accurate bullets that you can use in the vast majority of rifles. My own rifles average 1/2" groups using handloaded ballistic tips.
