Got my Rem. 870 near 25yr. ago, back when I was in LE. In all this time, zero problems. When it comes to a pump action shotgun, there's others that are good too, but IMO none better than an 870.

i'm gonna have to agree with this also. i have the turkey verson. it suits everything i do just fine.

I`ve owned on for almost 40 yrs. First one was stolen in 84, went out and got another one right away. I have shot everything from squirrels to deer with it(with the right loads of coarse) so yes, I would say I am VERY satisfied with the 870.

I love my 870 express mag. I bought mine with my birthday money on my 18th birthday at Wal-Mart for $180.00 I wanted a nice wing master but being young and dumb I knew I would beat it up pretty bad. I have killed everything from birds to deer and although it isn"™t the prettiest thing you ever seen its very nice shooting shotgun. Its been almost 10 years since I got it and it still shoots great
I bought the remington 870 super mag combo (the one with both barrels). I absolutely love it, and I can legally hunt anything/everything in north america with it. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.
i also have never had a problem whatsoever with my 870 very tough and reliable just goes to show not always the most expensive is the best the 870 is proof of that i have taken many deer with mine.
The best pump gun ever. I have a express magnum and the newer model super magnum wingsmaster with the engraving and both have functioned flawlessly. The 870 is the first shotgun I would recommend to anyone.
