How's everyone doing on the bass tourny?

Caught 6,,,,2 pounders this morning.
3 using deep diving crome Norman lure around a pump
3 Using 6" red shad curly tail... Texas rig.... on the shore line

Nothing over 8 1/2 yet.

Haven't had a chance to get out bass fishing yet. The weather has just not cooperated enough. I will get out here in the next month I hope, lol. The nearest place to go bass fishing is about 100 miles away, so it will be a little while with the cost of gas going the direction it is.

WOW that's to bad Charlie. My nearest is 1/2 mile. However my hunting around here is 30 miles.

I am afraid. California and Texas are producing some monster bass. Ole Florida aint doing bad either. I'm hoping for a 10 this year.

Nothing over 3 yet here. it's been a wacky spring. it's supposed to be 16 tonite, we had snow on the ground this morning. 2 weeks ago it was 75 degrees. a friend of mine caught a 5, but nobody lately has been getting anything over 2. we need some warmer weather, which is supposed to be coming. i've got almost all my fish this year on a bomber fat free shad in silver.
