Default Panther MArtin Lures

http://forum.hunting.net/asppg/tt.asp?forumid=24

i just got some of thoes lures and i am wondering what i should use them for. i would like to try them for trout and smallmouth bass, but i now sure how they would work for them. have any of you had experience with them.
P.S. the biggest trout i would be catching with them would be around 15 inches.

Looks kind of like the old muddler minnow type bait only with a holographic image on the minnow. They will catch walleyes, northerns as well as bass and trout. I always did better on the roostertails to be honest.

I use these guys for the high mountain lake trout, trolling in larger resivoirs for trout, fishing shorelines for small mouth and large mouth bass. They will catch a lot of different fish. Pretty good lures IMO.

Panther martins are one of my favorite lures for brook trout i use them all the time with awsome success, i usually dont have much luck with them in the spring, the water gotta warm up some before they really work good. the gold blk spinner is my favorite pictured in the link.

WHen I use to fish with a spinning rod these were the hottest spinners inmy box when it comes to brookies and I caught my fair share of rainbows on them as well. My personal favorites ate a yellow and red body with a silver blade or a black and yellow with a copper blade. I don't fish thm often anymore as I'm in a long apprenticeship with my fly rod.

I fish all over Montana and Idaho, fished from Greatfalls Montana to Homer Alaska.I can say one thing Panter Martins are the hottest lure in my tackel box.I grew up On the Missouri and the only other best lure is the Mepps.

I've got a lot of them. they are pretty darn good. Most don't have a hackle like the Rooster Tail but fish bite them. I've caught alot of bluegill ,some small bass up to 2lb . I live in Florida and we have a tasty fish that was added to some of our lakes; the Nile Perch. The blades on the panther spin real nice even on a relativly slow troll. When I troll these I can find where the bluegill are hiding in deep water and I catch Nile perch consistently.Must use a light rod. They rarely bite anything. In the spring you can chuck them on the beds of bluegills and tear them up. the smaller the Panther the better.
