It's called a Betts Bream Getter. Wal-Mart has them.

I like using a small rapala in that last hour of light for crappies! Fish them out in open water.

In spring and early summer a 1/64 oz jig tipped with a small piece of worm or rigged with a 1" tube under a bobber. Will work for crappie, perch, bluegills and sunnies.

Either a small white rooster tail on ultra light or panther martin

Chuck

If the water is too weedy to use them , a small popper is alot of fun.

when I take the little ones out I use 3" pumpkinseed Power Bait grubs on a jighead. I cruise in around 4-8 feet of water and drift around. The bobber and worm deal will certainly work, but I think the kids have more fun being able to wing their line out there and reel it in. Those pumpkinseed grubs for some reason catch a boatload of panfish. You can even run into a nice smallie if you're not careful Then watch the look on the kids face.
