Default Under water cameras

Anyone using an under water camera to see under the ice or water? I have seen a few out on the ice and I wonder what all you guys have to say about them.

yup! my ol man is the fire chief. when we head out on the ice we grab the underwater Vista cam we use for water rescues. we set it up with the vexlar, (same hole) works great, your right on key when the fish strikes. and watching the fish is even better. fish will also pass buy and you'll be like c-mon!, its exciting

Was fishing the other day with a buddy that has one. They're nice and you can bet I'll have one next year before I head out on the ice

I spend every day out on the ice and have seen a few of them in operation. Just wondering what u all think about the different models from Aquaview and Atlantis.

I only saw the one camera, the Atlantis. The guy I was fishing with had the Atlantis and he borrowed it, he owns Aguaview. He said it worked good but he didn't like the screen being split into fours, said the screens are small enough without having to look at four different views.

I fished today with a friend who has an Atlantis with the panning camera. You put it down the hole just off the bottom and then push the controller to turn the lense. pretty neat but it is expensive around $600.00. I am not sure if the picture is any better than the aquaview scout which is only a couple of hundred bucks.

i used one of the first aqua views yesterday. what a piece, the knobs you turn to hold the screeen up broke. the other one was already broke.on the wire to battery the connector broke. this was one of the first model but the hole thing is plastic.
