Default Striper Fishing

Im going to Cumberland lake in KY this spring and have never been fishing for stripers before. How does this compare to large or smallmouth fishing? I am looking for any tips or anything. What bait and lures are best? Thanks

Default RE: Striper Fishing

here in va on lake anna we nail some big stripers and the lure of choice are 4 inch boss shads on 3/8 jig heads. just have a fast boat and follow the birds that are going for the schools of bait fish. or troll for them.
