Default any tips for fall trout?

Its probably still a little early, but I cant wait for fall trout stocking and I wanted to know if anyone has any tips. Are Trout any different in the fall than in the spring? What jig/bait should I use go deep in like late spring trout or float over with bobber?

Default RE: any tips for fall trout?

what worked well for me was just useing a fly with a few small split shot about 24" above the fly. i was using this in float tube ina small lake. I also use small mephs spinners. the flash they created drove the fish crazy. I tried getting out a week ago but the water was all muddy because we had 2 dyas of rain before i could get out. in this type of water its best to go home and find somthin else to do because they wont be able to see your fly or your spinner.
