Default RE: carp fishing

Bread! i usually throw a few pieces out if im in a lake , on the top , and wait for the carp to find it , then they come up to the suraface and suck it down! , i then pinch a piece of it on my wieghtless line and hook , and lightly cast it out , then they come take it off the top , and jsut set the hook! if that isnt working make a small ball out of the bread , that works good too , and finally corn is good!

Default Corn for carp.....

Take a few cans of corn. We usually take an old sling shot and shoot the corn into the lake, also throw some by hand, throw 2 of the cans in the water, and use the third for bait on your hook. This will catch carp.

here in ny we use corn meal. mix it with boiling hot water untill it has a play -doh like consistency. you can add flavor to it (anise, vanilla, whatever) . works good for us!
