you spelled bait wrong...umm...miller wobbler and pork frog or a tube jig...can't beat a tube for pike, muskies, bronzebacks, bigmouths, and even sometimes an 'eye or two.

I guess it depends on what species you are after. Fish eyes are great especially out of a perch, i use them occasionally for ice-fishing. The good thing about them is the fish has a real hard time getting the eye off, you may land 12 fish on one eye. Perch, pike and walleyes here seem to like a good eye ball. My favorites are for jigging walleye a nicy juicy leech hooked through the sucker so he wiggles and shows his stuff. I also will use a type of a lindy rig for walleye with a slip sinker a bead and a small hook on that rig i also like to run a leech. For bottom bouncing pulling a spinning rig i go to a night crawler, don't ask me why but i just seem to have more faith with worms in this situation. Fishing for perch i use nothing but leechs in the summer time. For pike in summer i very seldom use bait its just throwin spoon, crankin', etc most of the time.
