Default Lake trout questions

Iam 18 and just bought my first boat, haha don't even have a truck yet but what ever heh. Anyways no downriggers and iam gonna try the 3 eyed swivel technique, but i want to know what size lures are good for lake trout i have heard multiple things from size, so what do you guys use for them? [8D]

You can go with 3-4" spoons or 4-6" jointed rapalas . They shouldn't be that deep yet depending on where your fishing. You may want to try a dipsey diver, it will act like a planer board and downrigger all in one.

Sweet thanks dude, i have 4 3-4'' spoons i was also thinking out using the new plastic minnow baits made by storm with the inbedded rattles. the set up i use now is like this....
