I haven't been out since Sunday but trout fishin' in Eastern PA was very good over the entire weekend. Local state stockings and club stockings should cajole quite a few anglers out there this weekend.

Fishin' Season is still closed here. Southern zone opens next saturday, but I won't be going until at least mid month as water temp is to cold.

I was out on Lehigh River (Lehigh County) near the Cementon area and between my brother and I we still only caught 2 trout over a 1 mile or so stretch. No one else was catching much either by the looks of it. Fishing was very good on the Little Lehigh, Jordan and Hokendaqua creeks over the weekend.

Well we boated the first Striper of the year on May 6, just a 8lbs 11oz, 27" long. Caught on incoming tide on live herring.

On Sunday May 9, The wife got her first ever striper and 2nd, and 3rd, All were caught on out going tide on live herring 16.5lbs, 15.5lbs, and 14lbs, She also caught lots of herring. I got the big one Sunday again 9.25lbs

Not a bad day at all 4 stripers Will be going out Tuesday to try for some more.

Good luck to all that go!!!
