Default lure collectors

Anyone here collect lures ? I did ... don't now. I collected about 135 of the 160 +/- old Storm wiggle warts that were discontinued around 1999/2000. Lots of fun - anyone else ?

I collected Storm Wiggle Wart lures and had maye 135-140 of the 160 or so colors they made over the company's lifetime. I sold them all on EBAY (at a good profit I might add ) and used that money to finance ... of all things, pack llamas for my elk hunting.

I love to fish the Storm wiggle warts, kept probably 25-30 of them for my own use. I still buy/sell a lot of tackle on EBAY. My profit isn't great becuase the lures are $6-10 each, maybe more, but my percentage return is fantastic at 200-400 % or more. Its fun, gives me something to do

stealthy- you have any topwater baits you want to get rid of? I am not currently into collecting, but always wanted to start. Should have saved some of the stuff when I first got started. I have a thing for top water baits old poppers and stuff like that.

I've got a bunch of my Grandpa's old plugs and lures displayed in my lobby. There are a few Pflueger reels and glass poles also.

I occasionally have folks comment that they might be worth some money, but I would'nt know about that. I just think they are pretty cool to look at.

The plugs are a variety of Bombers, Johnsons, Rebels, Rapala's, Daltons and about a half a dozen Fred Arbogast "Jitterbugs".

I don't know about collecting them. I've got a couple hundred. Maybe more. [&:] But I am for sure a lure-a-holic.[] I get the shakes when the Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas fishing catalogs come.
