My sons double hook!!

My sons double hook!! His first smallmouth and walleye ever!! Happened within 2 minutes of eachother. The first poll released with the bass on it. I told him to grab it and reel him in. He gets it to the boat and I net it as the other pole releases. He just about knocks me in the water getting the other pole. He reels that one in with the walleye. Couple nice firsts for the boy!!

They both went just under 5 lbs. Ya know the strange thing. We caught 14 fish that day trolling. Nice rainbows, browns, bass, 2 walleyes, etc........ It was an awesome day!! Then suddenly he wanted to go in towards shore and pull up the downriggers and cast for rock bass?? KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I had to oblige. He likes to cast.lol

5lbs in NC is citation for small mouth.

Yup, kids. He could have caught a 600# Marlin and probably would have wanted to go show his friends, even though every other rod on the boat was bent over!

I love it.

Congrats to you& you son Ny, sounds like yall had a good time nice size fish too( goodtimes to remember).

Remember when my son& i where in a canoe one summer camping upstate ny,& right near shore what i thought was a snag till it pulled back lol- turned out to be a nice size smallmouthbass for him.
