Well..we got a cold front coming in Sat. night..and supposed to rain Sat..SO >..after work in 7 minutes..I'll grab a bite and drive to my spot and pitch till dark..

Windy as crap...nothing on the shoreline so I went off the shore..I boated 6 including this chunky 4 3/4 pounds..fought like a bull [ -;

I am sorry to here of you loosing your big fish.. Maybe some better luck next time. As for those gators..?? I do not think I would like fishing with them watching me all the time.. Have you ever accidently bumped one with your boat? I do not think that would be much fun to have happen. Some reason those sets of jaws would be keeping me on the nervous side of things..

Honestly..gators have a bad rap. Crocodiles are aggressive..gators no matter what size will run from you UNLESS..

A. you have a stringer of fish on your boat..i use a cooler

B. You mess with their babies..I don't..too much { -;

C. you are wading in the water after dark..
