Fianlly got a cheap Vexilar...
well, after 30+ years of fishing, I broke down and invested in a Vexilar. Not a fancy one. A friend had a FL8-SLT that he bought brand new 4 years ago and used 2 times for a total of about 9hours actual use. It came with the battery indicator and an extra brand new back-up battery. I got the package for $150. I tried to clean it, but there was nothing dirty on it. He says it's used, but I can't find a soltary mark on it. I can't wait to get to try it out!! I may get the GENZ box for it or the pro-pack so I can have the transducer cup.
