Awesome fish! Glad to see some other salmon pictures around. In the Great Lakes Basin we had a very good crop of fish this year.

What type of setup were you running?

We fish them in pretty shallow water in the columbia river, around 25 feet or less we typically run 8oz lead 16 " leader to a shortbuse flasher the 4 foot of 30lb to a 2 3/0 hook set up and bait it with a brined cut plug Blue labe Herring

Very interesting. The lower river systems where we catch them, the holes and runs we fish range from 6-14 foot deep.

Season just ended and I can't wait for next year.
