Default A great way to end my birthday.....

Yesterday was my 27th b-day. Got the go ahead to scoot out of the office a little early and drove the short 50 mile trip into TN to fish a small trout creek a buddy has been raving about. Hooked 20+ brown trout (all on dry flies!) and landed around half that. There are some bigguns in there, but I was losing daylight fast and was rushed. I still caught some decent ones. The best part, as I was leaving, with that sense of satisfaction from catching fish, it was just a little dark and there were fireflies hovering all over the water and the banks. It was truly a sight to behold!

Very great photos... A tried and proven secret to catching massive Browns is to go at night, generally between midnight and 3AM. It is an idea, like big bucks, that mature browns rarely feed during daylight hours.

Awesome fish, something to certainly be proud of.
