Anybody ever fish this river? I have fished it several times, but never in April. I think the time of the year is good. Wondered if anybody had any insight on best lures to use in this river.
Have not fished the Chic River. I Have fished/camped at Chic Lake (Ed Allen's) several times over the years in Early/Mid April. There's some excellant fishing in the Lake till weeds take over (Mid/Late May). Alot of very nice fish come out of River and the Lake.
