I know I know. The time and money is the issue. And it's a lot bigger lake than I am used to, esp. with a kayak, and wouldn't know where to start! I need a buddy with a boat!

I have seen a lot of kayak fisherman on weiss Lake. Get you a map of the lake and find some backwater ask the land owner and many of these will have plenty of fish and keep you out of the wind. When you get your map look for driftwood campground there is a good bit of backwater not far from it. And there is an old man who will let almost anyone fish.

It looks like you caught them all from the shoarline good deal catching a few fish. The best part is just getting out there and away from it all..
