Default tried a new lake today (finally)

Didn't have any luck with the crappie bite, 20mph wind might have been why. However the bass were holding and I did manage 3 total (largest pictured) on a deep diving crankbait (pictured). I had fun and learned some good spots!

there were a lot of crappie fisherman there, but no crappie. The heavy rain might have made them lake too deep and I know crappie dont like wind either. When is prime crappie time there?
