Default Slight Thaw in Winter Activity

Well, instead of a January thaw it seemed to hold off until This week. I was the first person after ice out to fish these holes, as they do not have big numbers of fish yet, but hungry fish none the less. Only a few pictures of the past few days.

I wish I could go out and catch trout here in AL. Going to the white river, AR in a month on a guided trip for browns.

Nice pics and congrats on your catches. You have bare ground in the back ground? Here you would not even get close to a stream right now with all the snows we still have..The grass showing beside you would be impossable to see right now as well. I can't wait for the snow to go away..

We had two days this past week (four days ago) with temperatures in the mid 40s to 50 degrees and rain. Took care of the snow in a hurry.

Last night that big snowstorm came through and dumped about 10 inches of new snow on us. Just got done plowing for a few hours, good grief. Still only February.
