Default I'm taking off tomorrow to go to my 'Secret Lake'

Lake Jackson is one of 5 lakes that make up the Kissemmee chain..Please read what Flordia Wildlife has written about Lake Jackson..my secret lake located in a very good hunting WMA..90 miles away..Horny Toad special Gangly...

Lake Jackson:
Catch and release only for largemouth bass.
Minimum 12-inch size limit for black crappie. Bluegill and redear sunfish of good size. Once completely covered with aquatic vegetation, this newly restored 1020-acre lake is not the largest lake in the chain but may be most productive; many bass weighing over 10 pounds have been caught here since 1994. Boat access available off of Boat Ramp Road within the Three Lakes Prairie Lakes Unit.

Got 4 rods loaded with braid..

Lures..
Horny Toad..Bullfrog color
Jig ..black and chartruece..3/8th ounce..
Worm..Red Shad..Mean Green Red or Christmas Tree..

one spinning rod { Braid} with worm to cast distance

I've been there once last year..after the spawn....where I will be at is a big cowpasture ..flooded..water is form 12 inches to 5 foot deep...wall to wall pads but can manuever with a small jon..The old fence is still up so there are many fence poles sitting up. A rare bird thrives there ..took me 5 years to see one.I ;ll be posting pics of the Snail Kite...and hopefully some very nice bass..

I think we used to go water skiing on lake jackson when I was a kid. I am originally from southeast AL (right on the FL line). It wasn't too far to drive that way...

That is a different Lake jackson { -:....I 've been there too..It's just below the bama line..I hunted there once. That Lake Jackson is in northern Florida.

This Lake Jackson is much smaller and is in central Florida...and very hidden and beru much out of the way..I'm not expecting more than one more boat there tomorrow..

and tomorrow ..snacks...canvas bag cooler with 2 waters...2 P&J sandwiches

Four rods
