Default Depth Finder/ Fish Finder Review

OK Guys/Gals..looking for a depth finder new for 300.00 or less..

I'm thinking about a Garmin..I have a Garmin GPS...it's been wonderful.

I've owned 5 fish finders...they have all been junk..
3were hummingbirds 150.00 or less
1 was a portable Fishing Buddy..it actually last the longest..
1 Eagle ..lasted a day.

Questions..
A. Which model do you have..

B. Cost.

C. How long have you had it?

Please rate the next questions From a 1-10

1 being crappy 10 being awesome.

D, Graphics?

E. User Friendly ?

F. Warranty?

Thanks ,
Chuck7

I have none to reccomend...they were all JUNK.

I bought a Humminbird 345c last summer, was around $300. So far i really like it. The color screen is easy to see in both day and night. Owners manual looks like a small bible, so of course ive only got it about half figure out but, was simple enough to just get it goin and make it work and does have a lot of cool features once ya figure em out. so....

A. Humminbird 345c
B. around $300
C. 6 mnths
D. 8
E. 8
F. not sure
Hope this helps

I will be getting one of these in the next couple of weeks.

They are an awesome little unit and for the money you cannot bet them. I have a couple of buddies that have small boats like ours and they love them

Looks like a lot of features..I wnat something pretty simple..I think I will try the Garmin..it had great reviews as well. I hope your Eagle serves you real good.

How long is your boat Mr. Hutton...and how wide is it at the widest point?
how thick is your deck? Is it marine plywood or regular plywood?
