Smile Fishing for rainbow's

Just within my county but near the Atlantic to a nice loch overlooking the firth of Clyde and the many Islands on the west coast.

Apologies for the picture quality, this point and shoot camera doesn't do the scenery justice.

We went fishing at 1pm and finished up at 8pm I was the only one who caught anything - 2 nice sized rainbow trout. I'm quite happy as I love to cook and eat them

I love to cook them in the oven with 2 slices of lemon (inside) with parsley butter....yum!

A common sight in my county of Renfrewshire

View of the firth of Clyde with the Island of Arran and Millport in the distance...yes people live on the Islands.

Arrans mountains

My view from my fishing spot

You can see the Island of Ailsa craig in the distance its so clear

Caught my first and second trout at sunset. Biggest one pictured

2 of my fish ready to be gutted.

More fishing trips coming up (monster pike, brown trout, rainbow trout, sea trout, grayling or Atlantic salmon depending where I go next)

My fish were on the small side compared to what people normally catch here and most are wild of course, this is a common sight here, monster fish especially salmon and pike.

A pic from my local fishing forum. This was caught in Loch Awe.
