Default Its aggrevating!

I have lost close to 15 bucks worth of lures, in maybe 1.5 hours of fishing. Thats been the par here lately though, its getting to be really expensive. Now, that may not be a lot to some people, but to me, that starts leaving hickies after a while, and the wife doesn't like hickies of any kind. I know there are big fish in there because I have seen them swimming the banks, numerous 5+lbers, but its a relatively new spot that I dont know really well yet, and I'm loosing lures because of it. I have fished and fished and fished this place, and have not caught anything over 2.5 lbs, and I loose lures like nobodies business, its just down right aggrevating. Almost to the point where I want to give up on this spot just because I cant afford fishing trips if its gonna cost $10 an hour(in lures alone) ever time I go. I might just have to start fishing texas rigged worms only, couldnt hurt I guess.

I'd quit fishing if it is to the point of aggrevation...

both from the bank and boat. Some have been fish that have taken it down and wrapped around objects, some are snags on underwater objects. The fishing isn't aggrevating, its the disappearance of lures thats aggrevating, and its only on this body of water. I'm thinking I'll just stick to my other bodies of water, or simply fish tex rigged plastics at this location. Its just hard to put down a lure when you catch 10-15 fish an hour on it, even though they are almost all dinks.

Some fishing holes are worth it..I had permission to fish a privat efarm pond in Maryland with giant bluegills..I'd lose 20 hooks and a few lures everytime..but it was worth it..

The only alternative...fish heavier line and quickly horse them out before they wrap you up...if the hook ups on the structure is that bad..I 'd simply go weedless and horse them out with heavier braid..I'd pulled tree limbs out with braid before.[ -;
