Default bait fish trapping

hi i am looking to catch a few 10-15 or more bait fish in a few a hours if you have any advice i am looking for spots within the range of 1hr or less of Colorado springs, Colorado i will probably use dog food and bread for bait and a 5 foot line i am using a black basic trap mesh large comes in 2 pieces from Frabill so if you trap your own bait for trout and bass fishing please tell me i will be fishing at memorial park prospect lake.

I always find it easier to get them from the bait shop; less time dicking around with more time fishing.
