Yes sir { -:

I have many decent rods but this will be pretty much be my set up all year..I like it..it works and very comfortable..I can cast the spinning rod without worrying about hooking the fellow behind me...

6 1/2 foot Team Diawa medium heavy rod
Shimano Symetre Reel
12 pound Trilene XL..
Glass Rattles small
#5 Split shot painted either black or red.
7 1/2 inch Black Culpret Worm
MUSTAD WORM HOOKS 3/0 or 4/0

SLOW PRESENTATION

The only time I plan to use braid is with jig or Horny Toad in thick vegetation.

Gone fishing { -:

Hey mbhutton..I heard about that trick in a Florida Wildlife magazine about 10 years ago..I 'll summarize the article..{ -:

"Well it was in the middle of a dawg day summer when me and my grandfather went fishing. We were both bumping a worm { Same color} and the same line and the same spot..The only difference my grandfather had been putting glass rattles in his rubber worm.My gracndfather caught 10 bass and I caught one." I now use rattles."

Most folks know that bass rely on sound alot for their eyes are on the top of their head..They feel the sounds in through the lateral line { Dotted line } that runs along the side of the fish..I know once I had to run a Rooster Tail 10 times beside a bass before he could find the lure..He would turn sharply to attack and miss the lure..This my friend is why so many lure factories put BBs in their lures..
