Default My Bass Fishing Tackle [pics]

Well, today I took the time to take care of organizing my bass fishing equipment. It was a chore, but I think I got it all done. This is minus the terminal tackle and rods/reels. Chuck7 and I had a conversation about how important we think plastic/rubbers are, you can tell I’m serious about my plastics! I will take this tackle bag with me everywhere I go when bass fishing and hopefully I will manage to put a few in the boat.

Plastics/Rubbers
5” + Worms: 29 Bags
4” worms: 7 Bags
Tubes: 35 Bags
Salamanders: 15 Bags
Beaver Tails/Frogs: 7 Bags
Tadpoles: 17 Bags
Triple Ripples: 5 Bags
Spinners
Large Blade Spinners: 24
Inline-Spinners: 8
Many body baits, rapalas, shad raps, hot’n’tots, etc.

What is your guys favorite baits, time of year pending (of course)?

dadgum Buckhunter14, that a lot of plastic! I dont have near as many plastics as you, but here is my collection minus a few here and there. I am anal about organizing my fishing tackle so everything is seperated by type, depth, and use.

As for your question, right now I am using a lot (atleast what I consider a lot ) of soft plastics. Frogs, a new swimbait that I am having good success with, and a jig setup that I think i finally got figured out. As the heat moves in, I will go to wider wobble crankbaits, jigging until probably May, work a Berkely 7" power worm from now through the summer, but I will stick with the HT for most of the year.

I can not say much about the soft baits as I only have a few of them. I never even used them until Chuck got me to.. I have always used crank baits, spoons , rapalas and the like.. I have used jigs before though with a soft bait.. Chuck's worms and those worms worked wonders up here..

I see those Rage Tails up there chuck :-D

Which ones are you trying, and have you had a chance to use them yet?

I have a package of the shad, lobster, and toad. Hoping to use the shad as a topwater, the lobster as a trailer or carolina rigged bait, and the toad as a top water as well. Our Wal-Mart had them all on clearance for 2.50 a bag so I got one of each. Havent had a chance to try them, but I am eager to hear what others have to say about them because from what I have heard so far, they are the cats meow.
